Monitoring and Conservation Centre for the Andean Condor
We present thefirst Biological Stationdedicated entirely to the monitoring and study of the Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus) in the region. This scientific centre is being built thanks to the support ofPatagoniaand has the prestigiouspatronage of the Bioandina Argentina Foundation. Together, we are consolidating a research node within the Quebrada del Palmar Natural Reserve, integrating the Condor Sanctuary Network to ensure the future of this emblematic species.

Implementamos metodologías de observación sistemática en los Censos estacionales, para determinar la densidad poblacional del Cóndor Andino en las Sierras Centrales.

Funcionamos como un nodo de recolección de datos técnicos sobre el estado de salud del hábitat y el análisis de la red trófica que sostiene a los grandes carroñeros de la región.
Prevention and mitigation of threats
Este pilar se enfoca en la detección temprana de cebos tóxicos, el diseño de planes de contingencia ante incendios forestales y la educación comunitaria para reducir el conflicto entre la actividad humana y la fauna silvestre.
